Gitanjali Rai is a devotional singer, performer, life coach and spiritual trainer. Her musical talent was spotted early on by Pandit Pratap Narayan ji of the Mewati Gharana, who trained her in Indian classical music.

Gitanjali began her singing career with ghazals, under the tutelage of Great ghazal Guru's including Ghazal maestro Mehdi Hassan Sahab. However, drawn to a spiritual path, she soon began performing Sufi and devotional music at her concerts. Praised for her impeccable Urdu diction and captivating stage presence, Gitanjali has enthralled audiences in the United States of America, Abu Dhabi, India, Indonesia, Dubai, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Malaysia and Kenya.

Now a household name in devotional music, Gitanjali Rai holds a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from Mumbai University. In fact, before she started singing professionally, she was Head of the Department of Psychology at SNDT Women’s University in Mumbai.

Gitanjali's experience in the field of psychology has given her an innate understanding of the human psyche, which is witnessed in her life coaching and spiritual training workshops.

Gitanjali Rai’s dynamic and multi-lingual performances in Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi and English, have earned her immense appreciation from her audience, and also made her a regular feature on several TV channels in India and abroad, such as Astha, Sanskar and Satsang. She is also an All India Radio Artist, and has been associated with the Art of Living Foundation as a senior DSN and Happiness Course instructor.

Gitanjali’s devotional album ‘Guru Aarti' was released by Patanjali founder Baba Ramdev in 2010. Another album named ‘Krishna Krishna’ is also available for listeners.
